Upon review of the books I read in 2016, I was underwhelmed by the choices available. There were some amazing additions to series, ( I think A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas was even better than the first book in the series, A Court of Thorn and Roses, and A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir was just as good as An Ember in the Ashes.) However, the original titles were not as inspiring. I found that half of my favorites from 2016 were books that I read last year that I missed in 2015. I am sure there are some gems published this fall that I also have missed. However, right now, my favorites of 2016 are partly books from 2016 and partly books from 2015. I have never done this before, but I wanted to be true to my favorites. You can go to Best Books of 2016 to read my reviews, but here are the covers of my favorites.
